In his sophomore year (2024–25), Dioubate’s performance improved significantly. He played in all 37 games, averaging 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. He achieved a field goal percentage of 61.7% and a three-point shooting percentage of 46.2%, though he attempted only 26 three-pointers during the season.
Notable performances during his sophomore season include a career-high 22 points and 10 rebounds against Vanderbilt on January 21, 2025, marking his second career double-double. Additionally, he grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds in an overtime victory against Houston on November 26, 2024.

He averaged 16 minutes per game this year and had 70 offensive rebounds. For perspective, Amari had 74 this season. He's 6'7 so, on paper and little short to play the four spot, but his strength and athleticism make up for a few inches.Comment

Hopefully. We can't go into the season with Garrison, Moreno, and Dioubate taking all 80 minutes at the 4 and 5. Give us one more guy there. Have we cooled on the big man from UCLA? Any talk about Ian Jackson from UNC? If we can somehow get another quality big AND either Yates or Pierre, we have a top ten team to begin the season.Comment
