I follow a mid-major report on Twitter and he's been the #1 ranked mid-major player all season long, pretty much from the opening game. (IIRC Alvaro Folguerias, who we're after, was high up in those rankings too because I kinda recognized his name when I saw it in this thread.)

Yaxel is basically an NBA player, which is why I say he worries me a little because he might just knife you at the last hour. From his visits and so on however it does look like he wants to play in college...but you never know.

Seems to be saying that Yaxel is trying to pull the trigger, then his phone rings and somebody else is calling in with a higher offer, which makes him rethink the whole thing.

Deciphering whether a player is still "up for grabs" in earnest vs just extending a bidding war has always been difficult, but obviously this is on steroids.

Nope. That's a heck of a core, but I don't want to depend on a freshman down low and two guards. We don't need much as I think Chandler and Noah will be really solid off the bench next year. Give me a starting and experienced PG, a starting big to play along side Garrison, and a rotational big to back them up and we are in decent shape.
