As I said way up above, looks like he doesn't shoot it well from outside. An attacker mostly. You'd *hope* they don't see him as a fill-in for Oweh who they believe is gone.

Actually they call Lowe a point guard. I was under the impression with his size and the way he plays that he was a 2/3.

So that's good in that it won't have anything to do with Oweh.

UK also looking at Alvaro Folgueirus. He is in Spain right now and is being called Big Z on steroids. He is efficient on both the inside and outside.

Lowe highlights. MUCH more of a scoring mentality than Lamont Butler, though obviously doesn't have the powerful body. Left-handed, which is always good in the sport of basketball. Looks in these highlights like a really good change-of-pace point guard. I know he tore Louisville up in a game earlier this season.

One other thing about Lowe that jumps out: rebounds like crazy for a guard. Almost averaged as many rebounds as Otega Oweh and Lamont Butler combined.

It would be fun to watch Folgueirus, Pierre, and Oweh go to work together.

Hope getting Lowe doesn’t mean Pierre is off the board.

Yeah...but it does look like Pierre is more of a lead guard whose size would allow him to play off the ball with no problem. In the highlights I've seen about half the time he's got the ball at the top, half the time he's on a wing.

Ehhhhh he’s young, played on a crap team, usage rate was stupidly high. Some of that will improve in a good offense on a good team.

Wee bit concerned about the shooting though.

I’d say Lee is more likely than Pierre.

What do you guys think about Xaivian Lee? I know he has a “do not contact” tag but from what I understand, he has spoken with Pope. He is testing the NBA draft right now but is maintaining his college eligibility.

Lowe also shot 35% on 80 attempts as a freshman, fwiw.

I think UK pulled him into the portal with an offer of $2.7 million.

One of those two and the kid from Robert Morris. Then we can fill in the last roster spot with best available, but that would preferably be a rim protector.

I think I posted this on this thread, but I watched Xaivian Lee go on a heater unlike any I saw last year. I just happened to be sitting on the couch watching a random game on some Saturday afternoon during conference tournament week. In the 20 or so minutes I watched he scored on probably 6 or 7 consecutive possessions, and each shot was just brutal.

He'd be a guy who wouldn't be lacking confidence in shooting the ball if we got him.
