Size wize, he's kind of similar to Almonor.

If it's spaced out which it will be, Noah standing in the corner like Almonor would may not be a bad thing.

I do think Noah will hustle more and get after rebounds but obviously it's a mismatch on the other end if a team tries to post him up with a traditional big...

I am older so I still think of basketball as PG SG SF PF C traditional setting but really all that has changed. In the NBA when you look at depth charts, the 2 is playing the 3, the 3 the 4, the 4 the 5, 6'7 6'8 guys are actually listed as Centers in some cases..

It's all about the 3 ball now...

Alvaro is a need in my opinion because of his size..

Quick question, what is a good site to keep track of who's committed so far in the portal?

Actually, no. Trent Noah played a lot of 4 last season and played it well. Because if you play him at the 3 he's not only too slow/immobile to really play there for long stretches, but more than that you take him away from what he does best (by far): attack long rebounds.

He looked great at the 4 for us last season. (Did play some 3 as the season went along.) I think he's a really good undersized 4 and could play a backup stretch with his shooting ability. He's a really unusual player with an obscene offensive rebounding rate. With those types of players, you generally try and put them near the basket.

Obviously, you can't play him against certain types of athletic 4's (see...Mo Dioubate), but I think he could help Kentucky at that position next season.

There was a joke in here that made me very proud and no one mentioned it, which makes me very sad.

He absolutely has to get stronger.

Without the bs, just trying to piece together what next year is going to look like in college basketball. Duke has to replace Flagg with Boozer and has a few other freshman coming in but Houston looks like it has a good class as well..

                      Should be interesting..

I think your issue is that you put too much weight on the height of the player. Just because a kid is a certain height it doesn't mean that he is playing a certain position. A 3 can be taller than a 4 and a 2 can be taller than a 3.

Anyways, with all that being said, not sure why people are so sensitive, maybe it's JDS???

At the end of the day, I may say some wild things but that's my personality, I like to joke .

Still when it's down the business, I get it right a lot more than I get it wrong..

Even with this PETTY Guard/Forward debacle that doesn't mean anything at the end of the day, the pitchforks and knives come out.

In regards to the OWEH GUARD FORWARD or whatever he is. i actually went back and re watched the beginning of every game since mid December last night, imagine that..

In Pope's offense, it's a 3 guard offense.. I will agree that at times OWEH look to be a SF in a traditional setting but then two plays later down the court OWEH and/ or Robinson/Brea would almost swap positions, Robinson Brea would be running the same cuts and standing the same place that Oweh was a few plays earlier, It's just Pope's offense, no one is right or wrong..
I'm starting to think your definition of "I don't have time for this" is quite a bit different than mine.

Pope said in the next-to-last coaches show that they want him to add 15-18 pounds of muscle.

Yes and no. From a old school standpoint, yes to me a SF is 6'6-6'8 range typically but as we all know, the game has changed.

Marcus Smart is 6'3 on a good (listed 6'4) but plays SF or 1-2.

Charles Barkley was 6'4 and played PF for years..

                              Kevin DuranT is 2-4.

In Pope's offense, I feel like it's a 3 guard one SF one Center type of blueprint but still, we have to call it 1-5 PG SG SF PF C
