    That would be a great addition!! Hope we get him. I found some stats on him.

    He is a 6-foot-5 guard who played for Sam Houston State, entered the NCAA transfer portal on March 24, 2025.
    Key statistics from the 2024-2025 season:
    * Points per game: 20.5 (ranked among the top 15 nationally)
    * 3-point percentage: 44.5% on 7.7 attempts per game
    * Overall field goal percentage: 47.7%
    * Rebounds per game: 4.0
    * Assists per game: 2.1
    * Free throw percentage: 82.2%

    Wilkerson was a two-time first-team All-CUSA selection and led Sam Houston in scoring during the 2023-24 season as well (13.8 points per game). He has one year of eligibility remaining.

    While his final decision is yet to be made, there is strong indication that Kentucky is a serious contender for Lamar Wilkerson

      If competition down low scares off Garrison then get out, young man. Pope isn't handing minutes to anyone.

        Easy for us to say, but we need him, or someone close to him if he leaves. JQ won’t be ready to open the season, and even as advanced as he is he’ll probably need some time once he returns. Can’t risk limping through December with Moreno and whoever else.

          I want as much continuity as possible. Wish we could have kept Kriisa and definitely want to keep the 5 other eligible guys. Stick around Brandon.

            I agree we need more at those spots. I've just had the feeling he's one of the kids looking for a bunch of guarantees.

              Probably so. And he has a kid, so I don’t blame him.

                I’m very meh on Kriisa. Would’ve been nice to have as a backup when the injuries mounted, but I don’t think he’d have offered much at all next year.

                Alleged to have been a fairly irritating (and creepy) distraction after the injury, too.

                    Well in all fairness this is why this place went from having many posters on a daily basis to just a handful , feels like a cult...

                    Anyways, with all that being said, not sure why people are so sensitive, maybe it's JDS???

                    At the end of the day, I may say some wild things but that's my personality, I like to joke .

                    Still when it's down the business, I get it right a lot more than I get it wrong..

                    Even with this PETTY Guard/Forward debacle that doesn't mean anything at the end of the day, the pitchforks and knives come out.

                    In regards to the OWEH GUARD FORWARD or whatever he is. i actually went back and re watched the beginning of every game since mid December last night, imagine that..

                    In Pope's offense, it's a 3 guard offense.. I will agree that at times OWEH look to be a SF in a traditional setting but then two plays later down the court OWEH and/ or Robinson/Brea would almost swap positions, Robinson Brea would be running the same cuts and standing the same place that Oweh was a few plays earlier, It's just Pope's offense, no one is right or wrong..

                      I think we need another big even if Garrison does stay. I assume Diaboute and Williams can play the 4, the Almonor role but still, I would not mind having another rim protector on the team or someone to eat up fouls.

                      My biggest fear, injuries. I think Pope covered the guard situation this upcoming year but another big would not hurt my feelings at all.

                        You won't like this (I don't, either), but I think they see Trent Noah getting a few minutes as a backup four.

                            I didn't like him at first but then I accepted him. I like the fire and spark plug attitude off the bench but his play was wild. If he's making shots you live with it but when he's not, I don't know..

                              This is coaching malpractice.

                                Hopefully things round into ideal form and that won't be necessary.
