And the thing about testing the NBA is that you want your best players testing, because that means you have good players.

Kentucky in the Pope era just has to bring them back. But testing and going to the combine and so on means nothing at all. You see players going to the combine every year and then returning and having great seasons. Robinson was mentioned, but just off the top of my head another one from last year was Mark Sears. I doubt Nate Oats was worried about his loyalty when he decided to come back.

Maybe Oweh turned out to be better than advertised prior to Kentucky but he didn't bring OWEH to KENTUCKY so everything will revolve around him and his 1st round NBA status.

Go back to Pope's last interview in regards to his offense and shooting threes. Injuries forced him to have a go too but his plan is team oriented moving the ball shooting the 3 ball.

Yeah, last year with OWEH Pope's offense was totally sabotaged and run completely through OWEH. So much so that they averaged 90 a game. But they really sucked it up against SEC competition where they dwindled to 84 a game.
Why would you think he's going to change his philosophy this year because his best player returns?
Robinson played for BYU and that's why Pope let him test? What? He played for BYU and then tested, got the feedback and followed Pope to UK.
