    Maybe maybe not.

In my opinion, he will not have as many opportunities with a healthy team statistical wise, still doesn't mean he can't grow in other areas.

As he showed in the NBA scrimmage games ( unlike Pettiford), he doesn't need 15 shots to score 10 a game.
He doesn't have to be a 32 mpg with 20 fga to go in the first round. He just has to show he's good enough at the things the NBA is looking for. I'll go all Cal here and say look at the bench players that played less than 20 mpg that got drafted with Booker and KAT. Anthony Davis was 4th in his team in shot attempts! Are you kidding me?!?!? More opportunities doesn't always equal a higher draft stock.

I could also see Pope using Williams as he did Brea.

I consider Williams a 3 even but Dioubate plays more 3 than 4 in my opinion.

Roster so deep and versatile Pope has many options and combinations he can try..

First of all, don't ever compare Oweh to Ad,Kat,Wall, Booker, Cousins, or any past legit 5 star day 1 Kentucky player,Oweh not on that level.

Besides Booker, those guys could have played 5 minutes a game in college and if the first pick didn't take them, then the second would have or the 3rd,the 4th, and so on. These guys where all legitimate 5 star talents straight out of high school no if and or buts. Could have played at Bellarmine and went top 5. There is legitimate 5 star players each and every year then there's the rest.

Does Cooper Flagg need to come back so he can get stronger more athletic?

What is the NBA looking for?

He's good enough now and that's the problem .

OWEH has always reminded me of MKG.

Doesn't have the length but the way he'll relentlessly attack, sometimes even if it's not there, and of course the average jumpshot, are pretty reminiscent.

Every year teams get lucky by having a borderline NBA guy come back to school. A lot of times those teams end up competing for titles, or at least they're in the mix. Kentucky has had very precious few of those over the years. PJ Washington is the closest example of somebody like that in recent years.

Oweh could be like that. Guy who theoretically *could* be a pro...but he comes back to school. It's not a position Kentucky was hardly ever in with Cal. If it doesn't happen you gotta move on and go with what you got, but obviously it's a major early turning point of the Pope era.

I agree, just hopeful he comes back to school.

OWEH is a bootleg MKG, which isn't a bad thing.

Have we ever had a player garner this much debate/discussion concerning his go or stay decision? Include his playing the 2 or 3 position debate and the answer is no.

Oh yeah. I think we've had quite a few. These kinds of decisions are always fraught. The difference in the Cal era is that most of the time, you knew how they'd end.

The position thing gets back to the question of "guard." As I've said, in theory he's right...but not right when you take the context of what he said about Brea. It's just a timekiller, not important. Some of the specifics he brought up of who players guard and their number were just flatly wrong, and the poster was just posting nonsensical stuff.

I recorded each and every game. Went back and took notes and of course, put it under the microscope just because.

Because like you, I don't like wasting time, aint got time for all that ( BABY BILLY).

I will just say this, I could care less what position who plays or who they guard as long as we win....

To be nice, I don't call people out here for all the stupid theories that I see on a regular basis, talking about FANTASY legend in there own mind stuff...

Well since everyone wants to get all technical on edge and triggered, figured best not bring a knife to a gunfight, just saying..

I think sometime a FIGURE OF SPEECH is totally taking out of context, people sensitive I suppose, I don't know.

I don't think anybody's on edge. You gotta admit fella, you post wild stuff sometimes, don't you think? Just off the cuff crazy wildness. I've always assumed it's like your trademark.
