It's a Jodie Meeks situation for me.

If Oweh returns we have a great opportunity to win it all.

If not, let's hope Darnell Dodson 2.0' are ready. Actually who Pope has brought in is better than Dodson but still you get the point, OWEH completes the entire puzzle..

Maybe maybe not. Business is business but everyday procedure, routine protocol is boring, gotta have fun.

So Matt Jones just had a discussion today in regards to "who starts"

He assumes Oweh is back. Also mentioned OWEH as the 2 or 3, depends on how you look at it in his words.

Garrison at Center to start, his to lose.

            Lowe obviously at PG

Johnson at the 2 to start?

Kam Williams, Diobute or AJ at the 4?

I think it's well know whom I believe the real star of this incoming class is, AJ...

Note AJ is playing right now in a PRO league against grown men. Averaging 15 point a game, a 20/14 game. (STEAL OF THE ENTIRE CLASS)

Story on CBS Sports today highlighting Oweh as a player that should return.
These five players have a chance to drive up their draft stock with one more year of college basketball

If Oweh comes back I don't think Johnson starts over Aberdeen. I know Jones has said this, but...I don't know if Jasper Johnson is that kind of player right out of the gate.

Looks to me he could be a solid back-up, VERY good role player, but not a starter.

Of course we all thought this about Reed Sheppard, so who knows.

He's got about 36 hours remaining to decide! Or at least to make his decision public.

We shall have a great team regardless but OWEH gives a legitimate chance of being "THE TEAM" to beat.

If not, still going to have a great season and hope others are as good or better than advertised, hopefully someone breaks out.

Good news is that in Pope's system, it let's players shine.

Nothing against OWEH, but he could be a product of POPE'S system. In another system, he may not do as well, who knows??

Maybe, but he got a lot of stuff on his own that wasn't really set up for him.

I always thought one of the reasons for his success is that he was often the most fit person on the court. Unbelievable stamina.

The big irony of OWEH is that he didn't play like Pope's players generally play. Pure athletes have never really been the staple of a Mark Pope offense. I think Oweh was just an old-fashioned grinder.

OWEH is tough. Loved watching him last year. Just tough as nails son.

Today, Oweh has a workout for the Brooklyn Nets, and the reason this is a tad bit scary for Kentucky fans is because the Nets have four first-round picks. While it seems unlikely that the Nets end up keeping all four of these picks, it would be scary for those hoping for a return to Lexington if the Nets were to promise Oweh a first-round pick.

They have an early second round pick as well.

Still think all those picks are too high, but he's definitely waited out a handful of guys who would've gone ahead of him.
