This post is ludicrous! Where are those fans? Certainly not on this forum. First of all, I met and talked with Perry and he is not 6'1". Maybe 5'11". He is not SEC fast or quick, but he can shoot. Noah is strong and can shoot. And we have no idea how far along the new freshmen are.

Fair enough and yes your are correct, other forums with no holds barred fans on other UK sites just absolutely trash these kids, not this site.

Hopefully these young men never read any of that crap because if they did, would probably pack there bags.

Agreed about Perry, if he's only 5'11 not in the real 6'1 6'2 range, it's a problem to ask him to play 2g backup.

His lack of foot speed may never improve but if a shooter can shoot, he can still have value.

I still wonder if RJ Luis might be a sleeper option. He won't satisfy you if you think we need dedicated shooter, but there were ties to UK in the days leading up to his portal announcement, and he's such a good player that it might be a "get him and make him fit" situation.

I'm not hinting at anything that's been said recently, btw. There was some early belief that we'd make a move, then nothing. If he doesn't remain in the draft, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's another one of Pope's surprise commitments, given the way we've seen the coach work the portal thus far.

I've wondered about this. Thought the Pitino connection could've been the whole reason for the early Kentucky predictions, but yeah, Luis' apparent fallout with Pitino has led me to wonder if the coach would be less motivated to help the player land on his feet.

Haven't seem him play but his stats look pretty good , right size.

If Oweh is gone, should free up some NIL money we had set aside.

I would like RJ Luis but I just can't see it with the loyalty Pope has to Pitino, not sure RJ would come here anyways because of all that.

Ian Jackson maybe but for some reason he reminds me of Caleb Love. Explosive when he on but a mental case..
