He would be a good fit at Bellarmine I think.

I would be surprised if Bellarmine has much NIL money. They’ve fallen on hard times.

See Tennessee QB situation! I’m very happy they cut ties with him.
In my opinion Pope is very frugal and will spend accordingly. It is nice to have a large NIL budget.

Good luck to TP. Was hoping but reality is tough. Hope he finds a spot he can get some meaningful minutes.

With the way the minutes are liable to be split between current guys, in highly doubt he’ll add another impact guy. Maybe Hawthorne if he comes around to the idea of a RS, but otherwise I’d look for him to keep a spot or two open for a midseason surprise.

I guess it’s possible he could add one more shooter, but I don’t know who’d join, as loaded as the roster is today.

Agree with it seems meaningful minutes slots are filled…. Could be a spot for a developmental but here in the portal days I kinda feel like developmental guys will be in D2 for the most part.

Huge IF for September. Big IF for season opener. But by conference season…doesn’t seem like a stretch to me. Nice staff and facilities for rehab. Work hard Big Fella!

Hope Pope sees him before March. Maybe pass him in the hall somewhere.

Last figure was that over 3300 players entered the transfer portal this year. I believe there are 335 D1 programs…..so there have been enough players go into the portal to reload every D1 team.

                      mind boggling.

We all hate to see the Kentucky kid move on but I totally understand his decision.

I agree. I've always hated to see players leave because things didn't work out the way they had planned.

This is from ESPN back at the first of the month.

According to Quaintance, his rehabilitation is ahead of schedule. He reports significant improvements, including reduced swelling, increased quadriceps strength, and enhanced knee flexibility. He anticipates being cleared for full-contact play by September, aligning with the typical 9 to 12-month recovery timeline for ACL injuries.

Arizona State freshman Jayden Quaintance underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee on March 19.

^ I believe September would only be 6 months. That's what they're shooting for.
