Why would a kid with Wilkerson's talent have a huge decision to make? Look at Kentucky and Indiana's current roster and see the huge difference.

I know what you mean. But I also think if these are kids who are NOT likely to get rich playing ball then every $100k is huge in life. If I were 20 and there was a difference of $500,000 on the table it would make me think. That’s a $50K per year job for 10 years. And yes I know if one school
offers 1.4 mil and another offers 1.9 then you could say he’s rich anyway. But certainly not generational wealth by today’s standards.

Auburn got Mississippi St.'s Keshawn Murphy. We don't have as much of a need for a player like that since we got Dioubate, but after I saw Murphy play last year three or four times I really wanted him at UK.

Illinois has two guys, Will Riley and the Euro, who both declared for the draft. Both are predicted in the first round, possibly lottery.

Kentucky shut both down.

I wouldn't quite bail on a wife or job to watch a UK basketball game. But, what Will said. There are no pro sports teams in this state. Yeah, Cincinnati is close (and I'm a lifelong Reds fan) but one common thing that can unite us all is Kentucky Basketball. Democrat, Republican, Atheist, Devout Christian, what have you. We can put it all aside for a couple hours a week and get behind our basketball team. It's really kind of hard to describe. It just matters. Go Big Blue.

In reality, I am a giver not a taker, i take care of the closest people around me not expecting nothing in return, just because I want too.

I say this because all i really want in return is 2 hours of me time and peace while Kentucky is playing. It's my opportunity to get away from reality win or lose.

Way i see it, we get one very short life to live. If two hours of Kentucky basketball brings me peace and joy and unites us all,its a wonderful thing.
