Who a player guards is the only thing that determines his position
Playing in the NBA is the only thing that matters in this decision
There's two examples of an undrafted guy signing a deal for what he will make in college next year, don't worry about any of the other onesComment

Not only citing 2 examples, they're signing these deals after several years. Mozgov went undrafted in 2008. He signed his deal in 2010. So again, why would OWEH sit around in a Euro league or the G-League in hopes that he can sign a lucrative deal in a couple years when he can make that money at UK? Further, Mozgov is a cautionary tale for NBA execs because the Lakers signed him to a huge deal later in his career and were roundly criticized for signing one of the terrible contracts. By the way, it took me about 5 minutes to figure that out and post this so who is going to pay me that portion of your $150 an hour?
It's easy to post stuff like you post. Remember the NIL deals that you posted? So and so is making this and so and so is making that? The point I'm trying to make is (other than the obvious point that OWEH stands to make more money at UK and desires feedback so he can better position himself for future earnings) is if you're going to post figures, at least do a little research first. Don't get upset when somebody asks you where you got your information and act like you don't have time to look it up.👍 2☕ 1Comment

Undrafted Contracts??
Not sure why this is even a issue or debate?
I simply stated that if a player goes undrafted there is a possibility they can still sign a NBA deal and make a decent amount of money, more than the two way $500k or league minimum 1.1, it's fact...
Does this happen often, no. but it's still a possibility. Still a possibility to earn more as a undrafted free agent, that is a fact.
Still, if it's about the money, he makes more be coming back to Kentucky.
In my opinion, it's about the opportunity to play in the NBA and if that window opens, I think he will take it even if it means less money.
NIL numbers I posted??
I remember someone chiming in and saying it was off, look at it now.

Again, if it's about money he stays at Kentucky, PERIOD!!!

I agree that there is no need to look up every undrafted players contract when it is FACT a undrafted unsigned played can still sign on for more than the two way $500k or the league minimum.
It doesn't matter what the league overall average on contracts have been over the years.
If Oweh is good enough and a team really wants him then they will pay him.
If not, he needs to come back to Kentucky and not only make alot of money, but also develop his game more..
If he is dead set on playing in the NBA and the window opens, he more than likely will make less money, that's on him...Comment

It's a FACT that they can, yes. But you previously posted that last year undrafted free agents average contract was $1.8MM. Then, the two guys you referenced didn't make that out of the gate as undrafted free agents. One guy worked his way into it fairly quickly but the other guy went undrafted in 2008 and signed a deal in 2010. Here is the thing, though. It is about money. Everything is about money now. But, my opinion is Oweh is leveraging this process to make more money in the NBA by coming back to UK and improving his stock to try and obtain a guaranteed deal.👍 1Comment

Maybe I missed the memo. Are we all standing on a cliff pissing in the wind to see who can pee the farthest?
This isn't that serious.
I hope OWEH is back if he wants to earn money and most importantly be part of something special.
If he's made up his mind he's ready to make it to the league, I am afraid that he's ACTUALLY good enough that one team may just tell him what he wants to hear and he's gone..Comment

Since OWEH is the hot topic, what happens if J. Lowe actually hears what he wants to hear???
Then what ?
Is BOOGIE FLAND a option as crazy as that may sound...Comment

Ever hear of averages? It's also a fact that hundreds of players that go undrafted try to make a team every year and do not. Going all the way back to Mozgov (who you've already been proved wrong about) in 2015, you're talking about 10,000 undrafted players and you've mentioned two that do not compare to Oweh and his situation. One has exhausted his college eligibility so he didn't have the choice to come back and make money in college, and the other had already been playing professional ball, went undrafted, played two more years professionally and THEN signed his deal.Comment
