And Demary appears to be the guy they really want. The staff had an in-home with him yesterday, per a few sources. Barring a shocker, I'd say Demary will be the point guard next season.

In the last 10 games of the season he averaged about 20 a game and hit 27 threes. Not going to be nearly the on-ball defender that Lamont Butler was, but is a much more talented offensive player on the whole. You'd hope for a jump this summer as he'll turn 21 years old in a couple months.

There’s some belief that BYU might get after him, in which case they won’t be outbid by anyone and Demary will just really have to want to be at UK.

BYU could probably pay every portal player 10 million dollars and still have money left over to pay for all their magic underwear.

Can’t remember if I shared this, but their war chest is somewhere in the neighborhood of $14mil. Exceeds every other program by a pretty significant amount.

And I'm assuming that's *after* Dybantsa.

I *think* you’d subtract AJD from that amount, but that still leaves them with more than enough to build a very nice roster.

I've heard suggestions that Demary might play off ball, and that if a certain point guard hits the portal, Kentucky will still make a big play at him.

Are you talking about Smith or someone else?

I saw that number as well. Where is all of their money coming from? It seems very odd to me that BYU has more money coming in than the likes of UK, Duke, Kansas, etc. I can understand the Texas schools having a big bank, but BYU?

Pope doesn't seem afraid of hurting the feelings of incoming freshmen like Cal was. Cal would never recruit over a five star kid coming out of high school and Pope seems to know it's necessary. Johnson and Lewis will certainly play, but they're going to have to earn it.

Makes sense. As a small business owner, nothing would make me happier than to become successful enough to donate a few million bucks to our NIL. Here's to dreaming.

I'm not sure how much we should expect out of Moreno in year one. I think he has plenty of potential, but I could see it taking a while for him to adjust to this level, too. "Duh" statement, I know.

Gwath is still pretty raw on the offensive end, but man, the upside is pretty wild, and he'd be a lethal defender. I haven't watched a ton of his film, but I think he could be that bouncy type at the four Will talks about so often.

No idea. All I've been told is "Lots of huge donors." Makes no sense to me, but I know nothing.
