nope, just a number of friends from Purdue.

Painter reminds me of Tubby. Solid, but not flashy. Bummed he had to run into UConn last year.

My anxiety-filled Purdue friend grumbling about the losses this year talks as if the NC runner up didn’t even happen.

I predicted they would win it all after losing to FDU, ala UVA. Missed it by that much!

Smith Purdue. I like him and he may do some Kemba Walker things but I don't like his size at the PG position.

If he ends up here, won't complain..

He's a first team all-American who's played in the national title game. If anybody complains they need to be taken out back and flogged.

As someone that’s seen a lot of Purdue games, I will nit pick a few things. My friend is quoted as “he can be both brilliant and insane in the same game”.

              1) he’ll run down the right hand side of the lane and under the basket and jump in the air then decide where to throw the ball.
              2) sometimes in the above, he’ll pull up at the baseline, fading both back away from the basket AND towards the baseline and shoot. Fading in two directions. He’ll hit…some.

              brilliant, and insane!

One was a 1.4 per game career scorer and the other is a first team AA and one of the best point guards in modern Big 10 history.

Yeah, I'd say the second guy is a tad bit better.

Kentucky has made contact with one of the top scorers in the transfer portal.

"We're getting all the reporting that everybody is getting in terms of who's in the portal, who's getting in the portal, who's leaning that way and while our communication with those people that are rumored to be entering the portal is limited, we've been doing a ton of planning," UK head coach Mark Pope said Monday.

"Matt Santoro is our lead on organizing all that information so we have a dozen, massive Excel spreadsheets that we're updating literally minute by minute and with coaching changes we've been able to talk to some kids in the portal and talk to some kids that are entering the portal as we speak. Trying to keep all that organized is a huge task, but it's really exciting because there are incredibly talented players. I think guys have seen the massive success that our transfers have had this year and I expect that we're going to have great success recruiting the portal."

If POPE can find some great players who are not all about the money, i think they will play for him, he's just a good dude.

I have seen him do some insane stuff as well but I think but that fact he has no one waiting in the wings to take his spot, he can do what he wants and it's Purdue..

Seen him do some good stuff too.

Still that goes for every player..

Polson wasn't a garbage player at all, he was just unfortunate to play at POINT GUARD University.

No doubt if he played elsewhere, he would have scored more. Maybe not All American but he wasn't horrible, was athletic and pretty decent.

Jones says Robert Morris's Alvaro Folguerias, a guy who will undoubtedly be the champion of having his name misspelled by Kentucky fans if he comes here, is a top UK target. Had some pretty massive games in his second year for them. Put up 15 and 10 this past week against Alabama.

I liked Polson a lot. Saw him play a bunch in high school. Had a solid career for what he was.

But look at what we're talking about here. Just because they're both the same size, both white...doesn't mean they're the same player.
