I probably watch more college basketball than 90% of the American population. Only sport I really pay hard attention to.

But I've never heard of hardly any of these players. You just see their names, Google their stats, find some video. I don't recognize many of the names unless it's a big one like Braden Smith or somebody like that.

I'd never heard of any of the transfers UK got last year with the exception of Lamont Butler.

To be honest Teamvhemistry I know absolutely nothing about any of these players. I knew nothing about our current players before they arrived. I'm not a good or even decent follower of recruiting. At this stage I just go along with the decisions the staff makes. I was concerned this past year with only having one guy in the 4 slot. I thought Almonor may step in, but much as I like that guy he really isn't a 4. Noah actually was better than Almonor at that for his fight on the boards.

I knew of Jaxson Robinson and Drew Carr, but only peripherally.

I forgot Robinson. Knew of him...but only from looking at BYU's roster last season.

I remembered Butler from the Final Four.

There's certainly truth to that, but I think that unlike a traditional freshman, the lower-tier transfer is still likely to be more prepared for the expectations of a P5 program.

For sure they are. We have a couple this year who had to grow some to compete at UK's level.
