One interesting thing about him that jumps out: shoots a really high percentage from three, but doesn't take many threes. Hits over 40%. That's kinda strange for this era.

Had 21 against Marquette last week and 14 against Michigan State. Had 40 against VCU in a game earlier this season.

Pretty sure the Twitter UCLA stuff is mostly fake. It is true that UCLA's name came up as a program with the money to get it done, and it'd be a hometown choice for him. You'd hope we aren't getting played so he can hit a bigger payday elsewhere, but I'd be surprised given everything that was said earlier today. Everyone with any clout at all was all but calling it for UK.

Yeah...he took 66 this year. For comparison Brea took 210 this year.

To be fair, they spent the last fifteen years watching a murderers row of NBA talent come through the program.

And they saw a lot of those NBA players get beaten in March by guys they claim aren't "stars."

If your definition of a star is only a guy who can be a mainstay in the NBA, that's disregarding what's been happening in college basketball.

In fairness, I'd say a lot of UK fans would agree Donovan Dent is at least a borderline star. All it takes is just a cursory glance at what he did this season. He wasn't a great example of what I'm talking about really.
