    Seems like a better gig.

I guess he won't be watching any UK games then. Almost every one of their games are on an ESPN channel this year.

Crean and Matta I would say just didn't want the headache UL will be for a while. I would say Davenport or anyone else would not want to leave a job on the brink of a new season. So UL probably had no choice to go with Padgett if they wanted to filed a team this year. Its going to be interesting, to say the least, how he can hold that team together through a scandal filled season.

To be honest, the Louisville program may not exist in 3 years if this stuff about Pitino being Coach 2 is correct.

I think firing basically the whole university, including Ramsey who'd oversee this stuff will save them, but it's gonna be painful.

Ramsey is already gone. I think the next step, at minimum, would be to replace the entire Athletic Board, including my old boss Bill Stone. Not sure about Grissom and the BOT. They voted unanimously to place Pitino and Jurich on administrative leave.

Yeah, that's what I was saying, but I didn't word it very clearly. Good point on the athletic board, though. Wasn't there also rampant corruption in the Cardinal Foundation? (Is that the same thing as the UL Athletic Board?)

Yessir there were. Loans, payments, lack of documentation etc. As a matter of fact, just a month or so ago they ended up firing the newly hired CFO of the foundation for..................stealing from a golf pro shop. LOL. I'm serious.

Ah that's right, I remember hearing about that.

U of L is such a trash heap.

My bad. Not CFO, but a "contract employee".

In yet more woes for the troubled U of L Foundation, a financial consultant just put under contract has been fired after his arrest in Shelby County

It was reported this morning that Crean was not in the running for the UL job. This interim President may have just won him a permanent job.

I also saw that David Padgett (presumed interim coach) was represented by Andy Miller, the agent at the center of this all.

The more I read and legit reporters tweet out about this, Kansas has GOT to be looked at as one of the biggest players in this. So many of these people are tied to Kansas players....

The biggest giveaway is Kansas's $191 million Adidas contract for being a one sport revenue generator IMO
