Jurich is next after his time for notice expires..UL desperately needs a clean slate and fresh start. After they serve their death penalty time of course.

Sad end. Too much ego. I always thought it strange with any other coach at UK the announcement was THE KENTUCKY WILDCATS and head coach.......

now to see what happens with the AD. I doubt we see that word 'unanimous' attached to the decision.
I cannot believe over half the fan base is handwringing to keep Jurich as the guy who can.lead us out of this.....
when it seems to me he either led them into it or was too blind.to see where they were going.

If the board intends to remove the "interim" from Postel's title, they must return a unanimous decision on terminating Jurich. Anything less indicates that not all of the board is on the same page with regard to who UofL's president should be.

If the board votes (unanimous or not) to retain Jurich, then they've effectively told Postel to not get comfortable in the president's office. At the very least Postel deserves to have first refusal as president considering that he's been asked to shepherd the university through this mess, and done an admirable job considering the circumstances. He and Jurich have been at odds in the public media and I don't believe it's a marriage that could ever be maintained, even if the board wants Jurich back.

I firmly believe the immoral majority of fans want to keep their hero Jurich. In the end $ will talk--not necessarily ethics. Not sure about other big donors but unfortunately for Jurich...John Schnatter does not seem to be his biggest fan. Papa John may head up the committee to find his replacement.
