The Official UofL Thread (UPDATE: Pitino, Jurich Reportedly Out)

Only names I've seen so far are Oklahoma State's assistant and Chuck Person at Auburn.

Emanuel Richardson of Arizona also involved.

@Tom_Winter is the one breaking the story.

The charges have to do with bribery of high school athletes.

James Gatto, a rep for adidas, is at the center of the investigation.

Man, if Louisville gets caught up in ANOTHER scandal after everything that has happened to them over the last few years...just shut 'em down.

The indictment says the university in Kentucky has 22,640 students, which is oddly the number that UofL advertises.

This scheme feels like it could have a long-reaching impact across college basketball, though. This feels like 1980s stuff.

And here I thought the game was as pure as the driven snow!

Sounds like the player UofL might've gotten out of this scheme could be Brian Bowen.

Who, of course, everybody assumed was dirty from the beginning.

Gonna be honest, I read the tweet and saw the words "university" and "Kentucky" and panicked for a second.

Man, if this is indeed U of L...

The Hookers, the football program stealing that playbook, the Athletic Board/University Prez stuff, now this...may be time to slap that lack of institutional control label.

                            Apparently it was Brian Bowen.

Sounds like it was a scheme from a rep of Adidas who was funneling money to assistant coaches to lure recruits to Adidas schools.
                            Kentucky fan since 1971.

The indictment notes that the university involved was already on probation, and that the (UofL) assistant was quoted as saying "we gotta be very low key."
