No way they could've/should've brought him back. He can take his arrogance somewhere else now.
I have a Jurich story I thought I would share. About twenty years ago when my Wife and I were just dating, she worked at a 24 hour veterinarian clinic. One night, in walks Jurich and his family with their boxer. The kids are crying. The Wife is crying. Tom doesn't seem upset at all. Long story short, the Veterinarian said he can heal the dog no problem and he would be as good as new. Jurich says no to just "put him down". The Vet implores him that the dog would be fine and to not go that route. Jurich insists. Kids cry more. The Wife cries more. They pay the fee to put the dog down and leave. My Wife implores the Vet not to do it. He says he was never going to and adopted the dog out.
Now who in their right mind would put down an animal who would make a full recovery? What kind of person does this? Tom Jurich that's who. I didn't know much about him then. After that, I couldn't stand the man. He got what he deserved.
Same guy that hired a coach with a show cause!
Same guy that rehired a coach that was fired for defrauding his athletic dept after a scandalous affair?
Same guy that personally vouched for Willie Williams?
Same guy that gave his head basketball coach a raise and extension after he had a public affair and embarrassed his university?
Same guy that oversaw a program that ran a brothel for 3 years? Same program just accused of buying players. Same program that got 100 wins and a title vacated?
Same guy that bullied local media to cover UL his way only?
So that guy carries a Bible to restaurants? We'll good for him. That's a great reason to retain him.
Dang. I feel small now. I have never taken my Bible into a Bob Evans. Not unless you count the Bible app on my phone. Maybe that will work?
Heathen. Roast in hell.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
^ The guy actually said at one point that Jurich was a fine Christian man who "went into Bob Evans every Sunday with his Bible."
That was something that a human being said, on the radio, like forty-five minutes ago.
Well, this being the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, it is important to remember that when Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses to the door at the church of Wittenburg, that he was primarily arguing that the foundational elements of the Christian Faith were bound up in "[going] to Bob Evans every Sunday with [one's] Bible." This and the five Solas were the hallmarks of the Reformation, and what its leaders were willing to be burned at the stake for. Glad that Jurich still holds to the highest standard of morality with them.
I guess the Bible app on my phone doesn't count then?
Heck no. It's gotta be carried in the hand so's it's visible for all to see. Preferably the coffee table size version. Any self professed bahbul toter knows that................

OK, back to the dark ages of actually carrying a printed version of the Bible around with me. I wil be sure to hold it up for all to see when I enter one of Bob's restaurants/
