I've been told the mood at UK is along the lines of, "We're not doing anything wrong, and they know that" ... They seem unconcerned.

Pitino rumored to be in discussions with Pablo Fenjves on a book deal................Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

Today i have read alot of stories and comments across the board on social media etc. For those who may be worried about Kentucky and Cal or for those Louisville fans wishing something bad upon Kentucky, the best comment i read today was simple, "Duke and Kentucky" are the reason other school are buying players in order to keep up, enough said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Crum did have a stroke but also still upset how Louisville booted him out the door, i know this first hand from the horse's mouth. He never said it directly but if looks could kill and body language was a indication, Coach is still bitter about it in my opinion, at least he was last time we played golf......Comment

I haven't played golf with him in a while. Still, i think it upset him so much he didn't even like talking about basketball period....
As a Kentucky fan i didn't like Coach Crum as a kid but as a adult getting to know him, he is a true class act, very good man in my book, treated me very well everytime i have ever been around him...Comment

Coach Crum is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. I spoke to him after he got home from his trip where he had his stroke. He is doing well. Oddly, we've never really spoken about basketball. His house is filled with memorabilia, former players and coaches are still close, and he still absolutely loves the game. I went to his place one morning to hunt a few years ago. He was sitting on his porch, drinking coffee, rocking back and forth at about 5:30 in the morning. I asked him what he was doing up so early and he said something along the lines of "I never could sleep before a game." UofL played that afternoon. I know he's a little bitter about how things went down, but I can tell you he still loves that University.Comment

I want to add my admiration for Coach Crum. I had total respect for him when he would take his team around to different High Schools to play their intersquad games. This allowed the schools to make some money for their athletic programs, and where I got to know Coach. He never lost a game because of a rule misinterpretation because he knew the rule book front to back. Do any of you remember him ever getting a T? I saw he and Susan last year at the King of Bluegrass and we laughed and talked for about 20 minutes. He is such a gentleman and was successful at a time when he could recruit kids that couldn't make the grade today because of the education requirements. Two that come to mind were Forest and the kid nicknamed Ice.John 3:3

Heard some really downtrodden UofL fans on the radio today. A mom called to say that UofL sports was what she liked to do with her 30-year-old son, and that's been taken away. That stuff is hard to listen to.
But I also heard some stupidity.
Guy called in to say this was all about one-and-dones and "four-star and five-star players." Said that they should worry about hiring Kenny Payne for that reason.
That's literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They were cheating back in the '40s when guys were wearing Chuck Taylors and everybody learned to shoot on baskets nailed to barn doors.
What are you going to do if you recruit three-star players? Lose to Bellarmine? The players who are dirty are known. These are kids who float around and who back out of commitments and whose recruitments are bizarre from the start. Brian Bowen was dirty from the start and UofL is crazy for even getting involved with him.
Also: Brian Bowen isn't that good. UofL fans have made him out to be Michael Jordan, probably because they want to draw a direct line to dirtiness and one-and-done players. Bowen is a very good high school player and that's it.Comment
