Wheeler is a big get for UK IMO because it gives Cal many more options. Suppose Washington isn’t ready for D1 ball out of the gate, Wheeler gives Cal an option he didn’t have last year, plus the kid is a really good passer, he looks to pass something we need in Cals offense.

That's who I really wanted to go after as an experienced, hard-nose guard with speed... but I listened to Wheeler's interview with Paul Biancardi and I like where his head is at.

No Jaden Hardy to UK: he will sign a G-League deal, as expected.

I know, I know DVZ don't get me started (especially now that he's developed a jump-shot), but I would be pleasantly surprised IF he went to college and if he did, pick UK.
Side note- c/o 2022- you read we offered C Livingston (forward/ undersized center in HS), he's another "manchild" for his height. He's raw but athletic. You can see some highlight games on YouTube playing with AAU teammate Mikey Williams-WACG (We All Can Go).

I did get excited when I saw the video, was hoping the last part was him saying he was coming back.......obviously that wasn't the case.

To me Jackson is a major piece of the puzzle when you think about Kentucky putting together a title contender simply because of how he dominated a handful of games last year on both ends.

That kind of ability, where you can control a game on either end of the floor, is so unique in the college game. To have a player like that immediately puts you in the upper echelons of college bb simply because the players who can do that are mostly in the NBA.
