Technically, we could still take two more players due to Mintz’ scholarship somehow not counting against us. Not saying for one second that that’ll happen, but it’s possible.

The college recruiting guys keep saying a return to Illinois is possible but why would he have even announced he was transferring if he just returns to Illinois? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Sounds like if Duren announces for UK first he'll go back to Illinois or maybe another unnamed school. But if he visits UK and everything fits and is right for him he'll pick UK. Duren seems to be leaning Memphis or Miami, and he probably won't announce before Kofi...

The argument would be that Billy Clyde's last team was mediocre, but not a historically dismal 9-16.

@ WCN Fam- Did anyone read the SI article (I think it was actually a blog JD wrote for them) where Jalen stated (paraphrasing) “…I don’t know where reclassifying came from, I haven’t thought about it…if you haven’t heard it from me or my mom, then anything you read is speculation…” Maybe I’m over analyzing the article/blog, but what that tells me IF the statement is true (assuming he’s not trying to deflect the issue) he’s not working on completing HS coursework by the end of the summer so he can join a team after Peach Jam concludes at the end of this month. With that said, we need to go after Kofi and close out the 2021 roster. Google the article and tell me you think? As a side note, he also talks glowingly (more than us and Memphis) about Miami because of the relationship.
Regarding Carr, you snooze you lose! We have too many guards now. Not mad at Cal for not waiting, we will be fine at that position.

No, but even as Kentucky had slid the last few years, last year was still a blip in a weird year. With Clyde you have to look at the mass exodus that was coming the year after that (find that KSR post from 2009 it you don’t believe me).

We were in for some really dismal times if UK hasn’t fired Billy.
