My only concern with is potentially landing Kofi ****************burn is that Cal may not be able to help himself and play him alongside Tshiebwe and just drag out offense to the ground.

Counterpoint: Cal loves that traditional offense with big, stationary big guys. If that's the way he wants to play then you might as well have the personnel to play it.

He also loves bigs who rebound, and if ****************burn signs he's going to have two legitimate brawlers in the paint who will chase down rebounds and play mean. That will obviously be a big change from last year, where the center was weak as water and didn't like to play unless he was shooting jumpers.

I think it'll be for better, but for better or worse, this year's team will resemble lats year's team about as much as Orange resembles the color Blue.

Still think it would be a weird decision to enter the portal, drop out of the draft, set an announcement date...and then simply announce you're returning to your old school.

I'm trying to think of a situation where a player has done something like that but can't off the top of my head. I guess you could say that the NIL situation makes it so that there's more incentive to do something like that, but it'd still be pretty odd.

Although Travis Graf just said the only Illinois source he trusts says he's returning to Illinois, so who knows...

would be really odd for him to just return to Illinois, but whatever, I like my team regardless

If he returns to Illinois is could be that he just wanted to play the NIL game. Get his name out there, drum up more intensity, make him the guy that people are talking about in the summer when the college basketball world is kind of slow.

These kinds of situations will likely be commonplace moving forward as everybody vies for a slice of the NIL pie.

I sort of assumed the fact that the Duren situation went really quiet was because Kentucky had landed ****************burn.

If the ****************burn-back-to-Illinois smoke is correct, you have to wonder if the Duren thing going quiet simply meant that he cooled on Kentucky.

Or possibly there's nothing to that at all.
