I feel that coach Claiborne never got the accolades he deserved for his stints as a head coach.Philippians 4:11-4:13👍 2Comment

46 Joe Schuler, LB (2003-2007)
Evansville, IN (Central). Joe would give up football during his redshirt junior season due to medical reasons (concussions). I've got a photo of him in the last Indiana game.
Former IU quarterback Blake Powers leaps to avoid Kentucky's Joe Schuler on Sept. 17, 2005, at Memorial Stadium. The Hoosiers defeated the Wildcats 38-14 in the last game of the series to date, which IU leads 18-17-1.

I believe had he gone somewhere that would have given him more support, he would be up there with some of the greatest. His problem was he came to coach at his alma mater which was noble, but we had a Basketball first AD and football support was fairly abysmal. We were pretty much mired in mediocrity with four straight five win seasons after his one 9 win season. UK was the only place he had a losing record."It don't make much sense that common sense don't make no sense no more" John PrineComment
