The cousin of former Kentucky star Randall Cobb, D.J. Warren appeared in all 48 games in his four seasons as a Wildcat while starting all six games in his first two seasons in which Kentucky used a two-back formation to open the game. Warren was used mostly as a blocker in his Kentucky career, finishing his career with three carries for five yards, but he did catch a touchdown pass as a sophomore. Tennessee's AA Mr. Football (for linemen) as a senior in high school, helping lead Alcoa to a 15-0 record and a state championship.

In 1961 Bob was the starting center on the undefeated Maryland State Basketball Champions. After Blair, Bob was a Junior College All American for Montgomery (Junior) College in football and basketball. He transferred to Kentucky and played football and basketball. Windsor was a first round draft pick for the San Francisco 49ers.
