        Started career as a walkon but was put on scholarship in 2018. UK Career: 17 Rec, 218 Yds, 2 TDs. Had timely catches that made the Missouri victory possible, and was a reliable receiver at critical points in several games.

          Imagine my sophomore year at BSHS and I was filling a gap like that when George come running through with a head of steam. Yup he trucked my. He was a Sr at Lafayette (IIRC).

              Signed in February 2014 out of Blinn College (JUCO), and didn't show up until fall camp. Got his first action at Weakside Linebacker in October and steadily improved his tackle per game total.

                    He had some big catches, including one for a TD in a win at Florida. And those two catches at Missouri came on the final drive, I think.

                        He was a first round draft pick, and the first running back taken in the 1985 draft (19th overall pick). He was drafted ahead of Randall Cunningham, Andre Reed, Jay Novacek, Doug Flutie, Bernie Kosar, Jerry Gray, the Refrigerator, and everyone else other than 18 picks higher than him. After a solid rookie season, a broken leg took him out of the entire next season, and I don't think he was ever the same, though he played five more seasons after that. Even at 6'1", 225, he returned kicks, even in the NFL.

                            Walkon made some big plays in 1993 game against Florida came up with an Interception late in the game which led to a field goal for UK. Unfortunately Florida used a replacement quarterback (after having seven interceptions for the game), and Wuerful hit Chris Doering in the endzone with three seconds on the scoreboard.
