They still brought in whores and strippers for recruits and players which has been validated by at least one player and one recruit so far. And they did some of that in a UL dorm room and all under the program run by Jurich and Pitino and for years.
But I get it that they have to deflect as much as possible.
And if someone else doesn't come forward soon, the tide will turn in UL's favor. The fans have already bought in to the excuses, for the most part.Comment

Former UofL player and assistant under Crum Jerry Eaves says that Rick Pitino must step down:

Not sure what that has to do with the cost of potatoes.

It doesn't exonerate UofL totally, because as you say they still were brought into Minardi Hall as a perk--for lack of a better word--for recruits and current players.Comment

Jerry Eaves said that Pitino should step down. I think Eaves was a well-respected player at UL; this and his BB background carries a little weight or, at least it should.
Another thing is the investigator hired by the UL BOT. That meeting has been kept pretty quiet given the circumstances; maybe some good will come of it

ESPN's Outside the Lines has a big expose out on this mess. They are having a one hour show just on this today at 1:30 pm. Their article is below. Apparently they have five UL recruits confirming most everything. Not all of these guys went to UL. Basically they said it was like a strip club when they visited.
Five ex-Louisville basketball players and recruits told OTL of parties at a dorm from 2010 to '14 that included strippers paid for by the team's graduate assistant coach.

I agree. Looks like ESPN is devoting the day to this mess. You really do not want Outside the Lines and Bob Ley snooping around your program. That almost always means big trouble and major revelations into whatever they are investigating.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment
