Here's the updated story from Forde. He says that the woman apparently kept detailed journal entries, which I'm sure the NCAA--and the police--will be interested in.

The sheer amount of stuff surrounding UofL since Pitino got there--starting with the Cleveland Clinic--has been incredible. There's something going on virtually all the time.

And you know....the Louisville media is going to have to do some soul searching and evaluate how it has totally turned a blind eye to all of the garbage that goes on there.

If a book like this were out there about UK, we would've known about it months ago. Louisville was able to control this right up until the very last moment. Literally less than 24 hours before the book was to be released. And when it broke, it was a late-Friday story containing just as many quotes from the coach and the AD as the accuser.

Yep. They used Forde (a friendly) to make the garbage dump so they could control the story to some degree. But the tone of both Jurich and Pitino in the presser was very telling to me. They have had a month to discredit Katina and the story....yet they didnt deny a single element of the story.

I am sure that all the players involved and employees of the University will circle their wagons and get on the same sheet of music. Their jobs all basically depend on this going away. Players could lose eligibility even at LSU with Blankney. So there is no motivation for anyone to tell the truth to the NCAA.

But the PR damage is done. People will believe the story simply because of the constant story lines that have come out of LilBro wrt sexcapades and sex scandals. At some point someone at LilBro has to say that this stuff needs to stop. And clearly under Tom Jurich it has not stopped and one could argue it has gotten worse.

The specifics never came out. But a lot of people speculated.

But even in Pitino's early years, he threw a ton of players off the team. Just a ton of issues over the years. It seems like a scandal is kind of a yearly ritual.

The only odd thing is that she would keep a journal. That seems antiquated and kind of convenient. It could be that it's a common practice of escorts for safety reasons. Or it could also be that she knew she would write a book about this stuff one day down the road.

Hello friends, it's been a long time since I posted. But since I happened to be in Louisville when the story broke, here are some observations:

Pitino said he asolutely knew about this, as did the whole administration, a month ago. He asked the university officials what he could do to help with the investigation and they would not let him do anything. He asked everyone he knew, according to him, if they even had heard rumors about any of this and they all supposedly told him no. (If you believe this part, I indeed have some swamp land for sale.)

It was also reported that the Madam and associates serviced some of the recruits Fathers. That disgusts me.

It further disgusts me that some woman pimped out her THREE daughters for money. SHE needs to be investigated! I'd like to know how old these daughters and other girls were at the time of these incidents. And,since she operated a cash-only business, I also want to know if she was additionally receiving any public assistance, because a woman of this kind of "character" obviously does anything for money. Herein lies to parts of the story no one is asking, but I definitely want to know about.

Louisville loses no matter the outcome here. You think they may have thuggish players now, what kind of parent is going to let their kid go there after THIS additional sex scandal under Pitino's watch?

Finally, I think regardless, Pitino is gone. It's hard to hide behind moves allegedly made by your Chief of Basketball Operations.
