So here we come to a player I personally know.
I however have never seen him play live. My best friend has, however, several times. When Noah was a sophomore at Harlan my friend told me he'd never seen an offensive player like him...and he's seen a lot of hs basketball.
I did watch him on ESPN playing up on Reed Sheppard's AAU team last summer and he hung right in there. Thought he looked good. But you can't tell much from AAU games.
I'd assume this has nothing to do with Robinson et al. Robinson himself likely has no idea what he's going to do until the NBA stuff shakes out. Assuming he comes to Kentucky, Noah is likely Pope's fulfillment of what he says he's going to do: grab more Kentucky-born players. Said that in his introductory press conference.Last edited by Joneslab; 05-07-2024, 02:00 PM.Comment

^ Actually that ESPN game I saw would've been two years ago. He was dating my best friend's daughter at the time. That has since ended but don't think I'm not going to give my friends all kinds of grief if he comes to UK. May even have to buy me a t-shirt and wear it to the daughter's hs graduation party. A lot of opportunities for trolling here.😂 1Comment

Yes, I think he's not only good but he's got room to develop even more. He's 6-6, 200 lbs with a solid frame and can shoot the lights out. He shot 43% from the 3 point line and 89% from the FT line this year. No disrespect to his teammates but he and Maddox Huff pretty much carried Harlan County to the state finals. One of the things I noticed about him in the state tournament was that he didn't take bad shots and pressure didn't seem to bother him. I'd love to see him sign with UK.👍 2Comment

I hope Noah comes to UK. 6'7" if the last thing I saw is accurate, at least 6' 6". Fine shooter.
The 'close to home' thing is questionable, since both Louisville and UT are closer.
Anyone have any clue if UK sent feelers to him in this administration or the last? Since he signed with SC I have to wonder ( and props to SC for letting out of his letter in this insane time of who is going where).
I hope he and Perry and the young guy coming off his Mission are building blocks for more than 1 and gone.
As far as 'we don't need him for this year'.... well I'd be tickled with a trip to the NCAA, much less a deep run. I'm thinking more on the lines of respectable this year and building up.
This ain't a let's get to the NBA as soon as I get 18 crew.👍 1Comment

Noah has a UK connection. I don't know if that'll help us or not. His grandfather, Perky Bryant, played fb for UK in the early 60's.Philippians 4:11-4:13👍 1Comment

If we can land Lanier and Noah, who's the next best available big out there??
Doesn't have to be a starter, just a well rounded role player who can still contribute...
I know this may sound crazy but isn't Lance Ware on the market again?
One thing i will say about Lance is he had a little dog in him, wasn't scared......Comment
