Saw that. Achor Achor is the guy's name. Had 23 against Kansas. Another one of those guys who made a pretty massive jump from his freshman to sophomore years. If you're digging into the portal like we're obviously having to do, those are the types you want IMO--guys who show progression. Because that could be a signal they're in for another jump as they turn 20/21.

Pope is the oldest coach we've hired in the "modern era". That surprised me a bit.

I really have zero sense of the makeup of the roster as of yet, but now that we’re at 9 I probably need to start watching some film on these guys.

I also see that we’re going to need a big class next year as well with a few of these players having only one year of eligibility left.

Yes, but a year to recruit them. The high school ones anyway. But the portal will be a mad rush every year until rules change again.
