Unreal, and so extremely frustrating. Honestly I don't get it, Cal was giving him a lot of PT and that only changed because of his back issues, when healthy he was a beast and the most energetic player on the team.

There have already been literally hundreds of cases like this across college basketball. It is frustrating...but it also opens up the possibility of being able to grab some electric players. They're definitely gonna be out there.

The obvious issue with a guy like Thiero is that he's exactly the kind of rugged, physical player you desperately need to pair with all that youth.

Seems like the "older" player (a junior, no less next year!) that Cal would want to keep. Seemingly tried hard and I thought had some good solid minutes. I wonder if he's leaving for more playing time, more NIL, or less Cal?
