Why would you want Lance Ware back? Are we serious right now?

Because we need role playing big man in case Carr ,Williams, or Garrison breaks a leg or a tears up a knee....

If you have any better suggestions then would love to hear it ...

Hopefully Pope is going to find the next 3 star Josh Harrellson who's been sitting on a bench his whole career and told he's too slow, can't jump high enough, has not pro future, etc.....

Harrellson would be serving Taco's at the drive through of Taco Bell right now if Kanter would have been cleared to play, Calipari had no intention of playing him ever. His hand was forced, he had to play him..

Actually the perfect piece to the puzzle to fil the gap would be Onyenso but we all know that ain't happening...

What about the big from Rutgers or couple others that have been mentioned?

Noah Lanier or whoever, we still need a big in my opinion....

Sweet! Was 1 day adequate time of “open recruitment” to prove UK didn’t “tamper?” 🤣

I did watch him on ESPN playing up on Reed Sheppard's AAU team last summer and he hung right in there. Thought he looked good. But you can't tell much from AAU games.

I'd assume this has nothing to do with Robinson et al. Robinson himself likely has no idea what he's going to do until the NBA stuff shakes out. Assuming he comes to Kentucky, Noah is likely Pope's fulfillment of what he says he's going to do: grab more Kentucky-born players. Said that in his introductory press conference.
That’s pretty cool! I’m hoping in 2 years we have a player I’ve known since he was in preschool—Gabe Weis. He’s leaving here to develop at Montverde

Did Wade Taylor from Texas A&M land somewhere yet?

I believe he returned to A&M for his seventeenth year.

And I like what Pope is doing at the back end of the roster as it stands: trying to get guys who *might* stick around. Of course you never know in the NIL/portal era, but Perry, Noah, Oweh, and Garrison might be a foundation for him going forward that he can build on.

Like the rest of us, I'm so done with just picking up and having to build entire teams during the offseason. It'll be so sweet when we can finally have a handful of guys (at least) who want to run it back.

I like this roster, Pope has done a great job in a short period of time, tireless worker.

Possible this team may not gel,may not even make the tournament, may actually make a run and compete, who knows??

I still think we need another 6'9--7 foot player for depth. If not we are playing small ball if someone is out or injured...

I read something this morning and who knows if it will be true or not but Perry and Noah are the two Lofton's that did not get away. Both are top 5 all time leading scorers in Kentucky ( Post 87 3 point line installed) high school history, would have been crazy if Reed would have stayed.

I mention the 3 point line high school 87 because i watched many snipers in the early 80's playing high school basketball, kids that averaged 20 plus a game shooting from the hash marks....
