I get it , Uconn is on top of the world right now and is probably getting the pick of the litter but now that POPE can throw that Kentucky name around, he is just getting started.


On the bright side of things, what if you are a Duke or NC fan right about now? Here are two blue bloods you would think would have full rosters by now but scrambling like everyone else.

One thing I do believe in Pope, I do not believe he will let another coach out work him, dude going to need a vacation soon once he gets this roster mapped out...

When you're back to back champ you deserve some recruiting perks.
neither Pope nor Kentucky has been successful past round one since some of these guys were high school frosh.
Pope has to polish up the brand.
I figure he will get about 2 games to do it from some our fan base.

UCONN announces they're no longer recruiting Brea.

Would be Pope's biggest move so far if he can land him.

Rumor is Hurley is done with back court and wing positions. If true, Brea should be a lock.

Osobar and Pope supposedly had dinner at Malone's with some of the 96 team members.

If that can't close the deal,I don't know what will...

One issue with Osobor, according to Matt Norlander, is that he has three more visits lined up this week. Kentucky got the first one.

That's not a deal-breaker but I was hoping Pope would get a commitment while his family was in Lexington.

If Pope adds Great, Brea, and Robinson then the first few weeks of his tenure would be darn near perfect. Even 2 of 3 and another shooter and/or a lead guard would be a fantastic start. This team will be a contender when all is said and done.
