Sweet, goodness knows we needed something positive to happen.

Strange observation. Very, very improbable.... No, IMPOSSIBLE!

^^^^^probably not. Have to go back when he left Memphis and see how that worked out.
Truth is with the NCAA apparently opening the door on transfers due to covid, I wonder if they will ever be able to shut it again. The Fields fiasco in football kind of foretold that.

Does this mean Mintz (2-guard) is gone, or does it mean Cal plans to run him at point?

Rule used to be as long as a kid didnt sign an LOI, he could go wherever he wished, no matter who he 'committed' to. I think Knight did that for us when he announced. In that case, the school has little say so in the deal.

              I wondered the same.

I would love to have Mintz back but not as a point guard. Cal needs an electric type that's going to push the action on virtually every possession.

With both Mintz and Grady, it makes sense to me that Clark might reclassify.

Putting him in a situation where he'll be out there with guys who have a combined nine years of experience is a good move, if indeed that's where the staff is going.

Makes sense. Would probably mean Clark would be at UK for 2 years, but imagine what he could learn from those two guys.

I doubt it. Clark is a one and done mentality player from what I have heard. He’s not coming here to backup and/or play spot minutes.

Clark, Mintz, Grady backcourt ....a la Hagans, Quickley, Maxey.

                          I’m with you.

The thing to do is get Powell and either another PG or retain Mintz, then keep Skyy in his current class.

No, I agree. He'll definitely start and play every minute.

What I mean is that having Mintz and Grady around him might be a strategy. As discussed Mintz isn't really a point guard. He and Grady could play off the ball.

As soon as Skyy Clark rolls up in Lexington, he has the keys. I don't care what age the guy is.

Brown I assume is Greg Brown?

Bassey would be amazing too, but he and Tshiebwe both down there would be interesting. Not many driving lanes with those two behemoths in at the same time.
