In a way, it's more satisfying that Jurich seems to have gotten the axe first.

Right? Jurich has run a practical reign of terror over Louisville for 2 decades. The guy has shown an absolute lack of character above all else. Seeing him go out and having "the best AD in America" see his reputation burned to rubble is...nice.

I don't know how many more concerts/conventions/expositions YUM could book if not for there commitments with UofL but it's seems if they could get some tennants who pay a fair price for the facilities rather than their screw job with UofL they could benefit.

But I seriously doubt the death penalty. Just because Forde finally throws in the towel on his hero and says it could happen doesn't mean it will. Not saying its not deserved, just don't see it happening.

They may keep it busy on weekends but would likely hurt to lose weekday games.

I dunno if the NCAA would have the guts to give a program like Louisville the death penalty, but if anyone qualifies, it's definitely U of L. The closest parallel I can think of is the stuff that went on with Baylor.
