Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

A skillet of turkey polish sausage with carmelized sweet onions, an orange bell pepper, and carrots. Broccoli raisin salad on the side. One of my favorite meals. My Mom made this a lot in the summer. Have half a cabbage left. Will make slaw

LOL!!! Ditto. Your broccoli raisin salad sounds amazing. I'm slowly working my way through all the soups and goodies I put up from my garden. Tonight I'm gonna pan sear a thick NY strip along with mushrooms, onions, and a baked potato. Adding wine and a bit of beef stock paste from Penzey's to de-glaze the pan and make a brown gravy because that's the kind of guy I am. Also making a simple but delicious pizza dough and letting it proof overnight. Tomorrow I'll dress with homegrown basil pesto, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and fresh Mozz. Maybe some red pepper flakes and slices of garlic. Drizzle with evoo with a nice glass of wine(or three) and I'm in Nirvana.

My kind of eating. Miss the garden we had at our previous house. Too many varmits here and the soil is not good. Have basil and thyme and rosemary year round. Put tomatoes in barrels and ave a couple of banana pepper plants. That's about it

I just can't get excited about lettuce soup. I think it would take about 2 gallons for me to get full. It has nothing to do with Cathy.
