    Skal is trying to help......

"Skal Labissiere tells @SNYtv he's recruiting Jaylen Brown, Stephen Zimmerman & Malik Newman to Kentucky" per Adam Zagoria.

It should be a pretty easy pitch.....if you guys all come to UK, we could be a special team next year and UK can have another tv conference after next season where 5-6 of us enter the draft.

I think after this Jordan game, these kids are going to start committing. Up until now they have been busy playing and having a bunch of stuff to do, being treated like Rock star for all these notable games. After this weekend it will hit them that it's about that time.

Cal should be going hard after the Jamal Murray kid, and get him to re-classify to this class. Although he is not even on the radar for the top recruits, he is a projected borderline lottery pick in 2016 per draft express. Not saying that matters, but obviously this kid is skilled, but since he can't play in the USA games like the mcdonalds game etc., he doesn't get as much attention. But he tore it up at the hoops summit, and It seems he could be a diamond in the rough. If he waits till 2016 to play college ball i'm sure by then every team will be on him, but it seems right now Duke and UK are the only ones contacting his coach. Of course they both want him for next year.

I'll do my own crystal ball. You all feel free to follow it up with yours

        Jaylen Brown- Kansas

        Malik Newman- Kentucky

        Stephen Zimmerman- UNLV

        Cheick Diallo- St. Johns

I also believe Mike Thorne ends up at Kentucky also.

Malik Newman told Scout that he won't take any official visits + doesn't plan to sign a Letter of Intent.

Zimmerman and Newman both are not signing LOI's.....I think this will become a common practice.

At this point I probably would be OK with your prediction, although I would really hate seeing Brown go to KU, if he doesn't come here I think he'll go to UCLA.

Cross off another option - Zimmerman headed to UNLV. Unbelievable....

Apr. 16 -- We're hearing that five-star center Stephen Zimmerman has made his college decision...

Some guys just don't want to leave home.

Diallo is more of a long shot than Zimmerman, but I do think Cal has an in home with his soon. Gonna be hard to get him from either St. Johns or Kansas.

                    This is getting depressing.

Zimmerman says that he hasn't decided. I'd say they want to make an announcement to UNLV this weekend at the Jordan Brand game. His mom just tweeted this:

Lori Stvns ZimmerMoM ‏@VegasBballMom 2m2 minutes ago

Thanks to all who are sending congratulations DMs & texts but there's been no announcement yet. Why can't a kid can't just have his moment?

Without question your favorite word has to be "unbelievable"...

With that said, I don't know if you watched him in the Nike game but I was less than impressed by him. He was very slow and slow to react, especially under the rim trying to rebound. Literally everyone was quicker to the ball and got balls that Zimmerman should have gotten. I don't see Cal much wanting a guy like that...(just a bigger Wiltjer, without the skills and not nearly the shooting ability)....

Honestly, for next year's team I would prefer a guy like Thorne (MUCH more experience, just as big and a proven rebounder) if I had to choose between the two...just sayin.

I'm sure Cal is up to date on all the available recruits. He got caught in the middle once, and I bet he won't again. Trusting Cal.

Maybe some of these kids just want alot of playing time...Zimmerman seems like a good kid who maybe justs want to stay close to home

Would rather have a random 5th year transfer who was a mediocre player (at best) at a mediocre school in a terrible conference over a 5 star prospect that is ranked in the top 10 in his class....said no one ever, until today. Wow.
