LOL Mat Jones does it again!! A tweet goes out which was meant to be a DM saying "He doesn't know...it will be Murray, Mulder and either Diallo or the Charlotte kid. Keeneland is Fri in clubhouse, Moore, Hubby, Brian etc."
(Charlotte kid meaning Ebuka Izundu, a 6-10 extremely athletic bug guy who was a former Charlotte commit. HS coach claims he has 7-4 wingspan, 43 inch vert and 3-point range.....if true, wow)
Matt seems to be pretty confident in that tweet/DM....Comment

Today I've seen chatter that has suggested that Jaylen Brown is just waiting to see where Newman, Ingram and Diallo go first.Comment

Interesting comments re: Murray. Seems UK people are hyping him up to be at UK but not many others are.
"And I don't know that Jamal Murray is necessarily enamored with Kentucky like Kentucky people would like to think he should be. I think he's attracted to it – Kentucky's an attractive option – but it's just a difficult one to read at this point."
"I honestly don't know, because all the talk about them being in a good position is by Kentucky people. Others I talk to, who are not Kentucky people, aren't really talking about Kentucky."

I think if you sort of look at Murray's situation and assume he's going to reclassify, Kentucky makes the most sense.
Different than Diallo who has Kansas out there. Different than Brown and certainly different than Ingram.
If Murray is down to Duke, Kentucky, Oregon, and if Duke lands Ingram as many believe they will, then you would assume that rules them out. That puts it at Oregon and Kentucky, and you would like our chances if it does turn out like that.
The only downside is that Kentucky got into the race with him very late. But Kentucky jumping into the race and Murray (possibly) reclassifying just a couple of weeks later seems to me a good sign.Comment

This is kind of a good site to keep up on things. http://ukrecruiting.bloginky.com/
My second favorite UK site other than this one. Ben Roberts is usually on top of most recruiting news.Comment

We could have 3 players on the team total for next year and Cal would still be as cool as the other side of the pillow. That's just how he is and why he is so good here, because if he worried as much as the fan base he wouldve already had to take a leave of absence due to stress.
Let's just hope he knows more than we all do!Comment

Here are the quotes from Cal today....says we may add 1-2 more players...and that he expects Alex to be back this season.

I'm merely just speculating, but it seems like a lot of these guys just want to go where they can be THE guy, instead of one of the guys. Weeks ago I read an article about how Kansas was recruiting both Jaylen Brown and Malik Newman, and he went on to say how it would never work because both of them are alpha males on the court.Comment

But Kentucky is just a tough environment for certain personalities. Even guys that may appear pretty confident may not be up to the task. "This place isn't for everyone." So when we lose out on these recruits, I'm of the mindset that they fall into that category that it's just not for them.Comment
