I started to post this earlier today but didn't want to jinx it.

In all reality, glad he's back but i still think he's selfish and greedy with the ball at times. Still that's typical for someone who has a SCORER'S mentality.

With that being said, injuries forced OWEH to carry us this past year so you live with it.

A full healthy roster, we don't need OWEH being the focal point of the offense but yet it's good to know you have a guy on the roster who can score a tough bucket..

Let's not forget when he said he wasn't that good anyway.

One one hand, If he was that good he would have be professional right now, am I right or wrong??

On the other hand, if he left he would have been playing in the NBA this upcoming season, he's still better than many other NBA role players just sitting on the bench .

Now If my memory serves me correctly, Tn. stomped us in the tournament and the game was much worse than the final score showed. Also didn't help that OWEH was a no show unless we are counting garbage buckets that didn't matter.


Is Oweh AD, KAT ,WALL, SGA, Booker good, I don't think so.

Guess it depends on what your definition of good is I suppose.

After watching great players play at Kentucky over the years, let's see if he can duplicate that in season two when teams are going to focus on him defensively and make others make plays.

Now some say Oweh just had one of the greatest second half's of the season they have ever saw, maybe maybe not?

Maybe winning a few more games in the NCAA tournament prolongs the memories but quick exits from the NCAA tournament people forget about you pretty quick. I watched Meeks torch TN. for 53 but my final memory of Meeks won't be because he scored 53, it's because he left and didn't come back and play for a Championship team the following year.

In that regards, Oweh reminds me of Meeks, maybe it's a long over due consolation prize many years later down the road that our best player comes back with a new stacked roster and chance to win a title?

I don't recall ever saying I had a "source" with OWEH on speed dial about whether or not he's staying yes or no.

In the grand scheme of things, the whole complete picture, It's all good.

I will say this. Of all people, the most interesting person I ever met and was able to conversate who told the real stories was the TEAM BUS driver for 3 Championship Coaches straight out of Cynthiana..
