I've been told TyTy is a Cat.

So, who do we need now. Another proven point guard/lead guard would be great. Mintz coming back or Alvarado would be fantastic. Still no word on Keion. Would welcome him back obviously. It seems Cal is looking for an athletic wing most likely for perimeter/wing defense.

Not saying it is, but if it were either/or, I’d much rather have Alvarado over Mintz. Having a proven lead guard to keep things steady would be so much better than handing TyTy the keys from day one. I think TyTy will be good, but PG would still be a weak spot if he were the primary option.

Oh yeah. No question. Alvarado is an all-conference sort. Mintz is a super nice player but is more of a role player. Alvarado looks to me to have potential to be a go-to player on a solid team.
