Jon is just pointing out that moving home will get you a waiver during these crazy times. Johnny getting a waiver in no way means Sarr will get one (even tho I think he will). That's the point. And many fans are rushing to the conclusion that since Johnny got one Sarr should too and that's just incorrect.

I've come almost full circle regarding a waiver. When Sarr first announced his transfer to UK, I didn't feel he would get a waiver. Then I slowly changed my mind as I learned of other players who had received waivers. Now I'm back to believing a waiver is unlikely. The comments by Rick Allen were the first red flag. (This was in the L/H a week to ten days ago.) Next as I learned details of previous waivers that had been granted, there seems to be somewhat valid reasons why they were granted but the reasons did not apply to Sarr. The only basic for optimism I have now is that the coaching staff has much better information than I and they seem to feel a a waiver is likely.

As I posted earlier, since we can't read the waiver requests, we can only speculate/guess why previous waiver were granted.

The timing of Manning's firing at Wake Forest is the best bet. If UK can prove that Sarr was talked into returning to Wake and then Manning was let go, he probably should get the waiver.
