I don't get that comment. I have been pumped for Kentucky basketball since I was a kid. We are gonna win it all every year

I think that the constant roster turnover has taken a toll on some fans, whereas that was not the case in 2010/2011.

Next year has the potential to reenergize the fan base in a way we haven’t been since 2015.

The fanbase is fickle. Last week at this time I'd say it wasn't in great shape. Waking up this morning most of those same people are pretty pumped. We tend to react severely to both good and bad news.

But one thing is undoubtedly true: Cal really needs to get back to a Final Four. This will be a big season for him because somehow, despite all odds, he has put together a Final Four type of roster.

^ I definitely agree on the need for a FF. Man do I wish that the 2017 could have busted through and won the whole thing, but the 2019 probably stood a better chance.

What is the date we find out if he gets granted the waiver?

I'm not sure if there is an official date, but I know Jemarl Baker was granted eligibility for Arizona on October 31, 2019.

Also, the NCAA is expected to vote on the one-time waiver for all transfers on May 20th.

We need to win another NC because we're UK and it's time. Our roster is imposing to say the least.

T.J. Walker says, "Seems like Forbes is going to help Sarr get eligible at UK. That's huge and even more evidence that Sarr will be eligible at Kentucky."

Take it fwiw, but T.J. is pretty sharp and usually doesn't peddle baseless junk.

Absolutely whenever the NCAA feels like it. Typically whenever they feel it will get the most publicity. If they grant the waiver we'll probably know an hour before the first game starts. If they deny the waiver...probably an hour after our first game starts so they can see if Cal plays him anyway.

That's certainly surprising given the comments he made about UK.

Or maybe knowing that he had insulted our state's flagship public university and lost his player anyway is reason to want to save face with a nice gesture. Who knows? But no reason to start a new job and appear a jerk to young men.
