I believe Espn is covering the combine starting tomorrow.

Are you sure they have enough people left working to cover the event? Maybe they will just set up cameras so people can watch without any announcers..........

A group of 14 players who have not yet hired agents will be at the NBA combine with a decision to make: Stay or go? We polled NBA execs. The results: Only one should definitely head to the NBA.

Goodman's opinion isn't worth any more than mine or yours where this is concerned. In my opinion, if some team offers Diallo a contract, he's gone.

This is true for a bunch of players. People seem under the impression that Diallo is the only one who may get a guarantee. There are a bunch of guys who are looking for that same guarantee from those eight or ten teams who have late first-round picks.

You'd have to be talking about 20 to 30 players, maybe more, for those few spots. They're all looking for first-round guarantees. Few will get them.

Still think it will come down to how high Diallo jumps.

It's also true that there are situations like Thon Maker's, where you go into the combine hoping to just be a first-round pick and come out of draft night in the top ten.

Don't think Diallo has that sort of upside at his size though. Maker has the tools to be a 7'1" guard.

Of those 20-30 players you mentioned I would say all but one have college experience or experience overseas that the NBA people can reference to in making a decision.

Kyle Tucker quotes some NBA guys on Diallo. More uncertainty.

                      Measurement from the combine:

Hamidou Diallo is 6'5" in shoes, 6'11" wingspan, 197 pounds.

According to Jonathan Givony at DraftExpress, Diallo would rank among the longest shooting guards ever taken in the draft (if he stays in) since he's been keeping those measurements.

As much as i would love to have a slashing small forward next year, i am still hopeful Cam Johnson and he's shooting stroke comes to Lexington. I just don't think Diallo will come back, he's in 2 deep already in my opinion....

He's not any deeper than any player who tests to see where his draft stock may be. Many of those guys end up coming back to school.

He's in too deep only if someone offers him a contract, which appears to be what he's waiting for.

He keeps measuring like that and you can kiss him goodbye.
