Exactly. Seems less and less likely as of late that Johnson winds up here, regardless.

That's unfortunate. Everything I've read tells me he's a high character, academically excellent young man who epitomizes the"student athlete". Equally important, he graduated Pitt in 3 years, meaning he's eligible for 2 more years! A real find for some lucky team.

I don't like the timing when paired with the Swanigan decision. No, they don't play the same position, but they could occupy the same space on a team's late-round draft board.

I don't think so. The Knicks draft in the top ten and I believe 45ish. He knows he isn't top ten and doesn't want to go if he's in the 40s. There's no point in working out for them.

It is close to 8:30 here in my little slice of Heaven and nothing official about Diallo. Could one assume he is close to a deal with a team? What other explanation is plausible?
