What does this have to do with anything? Lamb did some spot point guard work for Teague early in the 12 season when Teague was struggling. He hardly ever ran point when Knight was here.

Brandon Knight was a shoot-first guard, but it didn't change the fact that he never played off-ball. Contrary to your argument, neither does Steph Curry... Klay Thompson plays off-ball guard on that team.

Count how many plays we ran that year that didn't include Knight setting the offense at the top of the key. Unless he was in foul trouble, the answer is not that many. Any spot-up shots that he got was after the play was set and somebody set a screen for him, or the high pick-and-pop that they mastered late in the season. Being the beneficiary of open shots created by offensive motion doesn't mean that a point guard plays off-ball. It means that he's a point guard that is a good shooter that is looking for his shot.

Either "everloving hell" has triggered your Wordy Derd Alarm or you haven't been reading J. Jenning's insanity.

At one point people were trying to get Cal to bench Teague so Lamb could be the fulltime point guard. Glad that never came to pass.

                              Yikes.

                              J. Jennings was one of them, I'm sure.

My argument on Curry is that he is a point scoring guard who creates his own shots, he doesn't need hand offs and screens to get open, same with Westbrook. Go back and watch Knight, he would bring it up, hand it off, then go to work and actually more as a 2 guard off ball. Like i said, i never seen a point guard take as many open and uncontested 3 pointers as Knight... You can call it point guard or whatever but he played more like a 2 unless it was end of clock situations or end game were he isolated and went one one one....

Question now, what does Knight play in the league, the one or two????
