    35 Cartier Rice

    Kentucky 31
    # 10 South Carolina 28

Anthony Mosley's interception on this play sealed the win.

It was the first time Kentucky beat Steve Spurrier.

South Carolina won the SEC East that year.
That was Cartier Rice who knocked the ball away - he's on the ground in that photo!

I've got Moe in the Chicago Bears Throwback jersey too I'm not sure what year they wore those. He might be in the Pro football section. I've tried to collect as many photos and cards as I can find. Several years of hoarding UK related photos!!

Here he is in the throwback jersey - must've been an autographed photo instead of a card! :

35 Denzil Ware, against Georgia. I cannot tell who the Georgia player is. I think Jake Fromm wore # 11, but that doesn't appear to be the name on the jersey.
          Maybe Jacob Eason?

I really like that white helmet, blue jersey, white pants combination. I like it more than blue/blue/blue or white/blue/blue.

I think that is 2 time All SEC and later NFL First Team All Pro and Pro Bowl WR Pharoh Cooper attempting a pass.

                  Kentucky 45
                  South Carolina 38

South Carolina started the season ranked # 9. An opening loss to #21 Texas A&M dropped them to # 21. A win over #6 Georgia brought them back up to # 13 and they hosted Missouri and College Game Day the week before the Kentucky game, losing by 1 point. This was Mark Stoops' first big win as a head coach. Kentucky had beaten Vanderbilt the week prior and after the South Carolina win was 5-1 due to a very close and controversial loss at Florida.

Commonwealth Stadium was rocking that night.

South Carolina ended up beating Miami in the Independence Bowl.

Maybe. It was really difficult for me to try to figure out who that was.

Paul was a major disappointment to me. I was excited when he signed with us only to see him squander his talent.
