Evan Daniels says on Twitter that this absolutely removes Kentucky from the Trae Young sweepstakes.

Still need at least one more guard, however. Hamidou Diallo may be the guy they make a push for in the spring.

I would think that Diallo and Bamba are priorities 1 & 1A going forward. And not that it's a big deal as we were never really in this race. But Billy Preston has committed to Kansas.

I haven't watched a lot of Nick Richards' tapes, but outside of size I don't see much AD or KAT in his game.

It's weird that you mention this. Lately I've found myself playing the "what if" game with Trey Lyles more than any other player. Nothing about his game jumped out at you, but he was a solid player who, I think, could've been devastating as a sophomore - and I say that generally speaking. We obviously needed size last year, but even if we'd had all the right pieces plus Lyles, I think we'd have seen a very impressive player.

Humphries? Wynyard? I don't see them going anywhere. We might luck up and keep Gabriel for another year, but that's probably a long shot.

Either way, yeah. The prospect is a bit worrisome.
