Random fact: UK has 8 wins vs AP top-25. The ACC has 7. That’s right, the entire conference.

too many potential story lines to avoid them all. Math is against it.
Lunardi has UofL and St. John’s playing in 2nd round.

UKs 2nd round (seeds hold) would be UCLA. Then …. MichSt.

          This is crazy.

And not only got beat by South Carolina, got pummeled.

Super weird team. I actually think there's going to be a lot of pressure on both Calipari and Kentucky to get out of the first round of the NCAA Tournament. I can see the pressure getting to Arkansas and them playing the same kind of game we played in two of the last three tourneys.

There’s no doubt going to be pressure for both teams. There’s also pressure for Pope as fans note he’s not won a tourney game.

We’ll see in less than 2 weeks!

Jay Wright says this may have been Cal's best coaching year ever, not sure i am buying into all that but still, Cal figured it out.

He was 1-6 lost Fland and now he's 8-10 SEC, pretty good turn around.

I am not sure it's because he started drawing up the 5 star schemes but he's a mental coach, his team finally bought in, made a difference...

Other than the UK upset, his late schedule was easier, IMO. Other than UK & Missouri they lost who they were "supposed" to lose to and beat the ones he was (mostly) supposed to..... USCjr - yikes.

I tend to think a coach’s best year is the one when he wins it all.

Best year vs. best coaching year. I can see a distinction.

Winning the title is big big, but to quote the people that don't give Tubby credit for '98 - my grandmother could have coached the '12 team to a title.

I'm just waiting for Ricky P to come out and give his typical "this has been my favorite team" quote.

Boogie Fland is expected to play in the NCAA Tournament.

Which would make it even funnier if they lost in the first round.
