My only bad blood with Cal is the "Basketball Benny" stuff and the fact it felt like he was holding the program hostage for the last 6 or 7 years. I expected the players to transfer to Arkansas with him and honestly don't blame them. They committed to UK but they also committed to play ball for Coach Cal. I think it would have been better for a couple of them as players to have stayed at UK but guys like Wagner didn't really fit with what Pope wants to do.

I feel sorry for those folks down in Arkansas. I get it the excitement and possibility but if they are looking for titles, they may be in for a rude awakening.

I appreciate him leaving on his own letting us off the hook on the money.

Bad blood was his players going with him to Arkansas, i hated that cause i like those guys..
DJ was one of Trilly's earliest portal predictions, but I've yet to see an official announcement.

I like DJ, I wish he was still at Kentucky in some ways. He's either hit or miss but when he's on, he makes it looks easy..

Don’t feel too sorry for Arkansas. Calipari has secured commitments from:

            • Nick Pringle: A forward transferring from South Carolina.

            • Malique Ewin: A forward transferring from Florida State .

I want to win a title as much as anyone but just under that, I want to beat Arkansas on their home court next season. That just got much harder to do.

Would love to beat them by 30.

Cal will always get his players, can't deny that...

If anyone is still craving basketball, just about every NBA playoff team has Calipari Cats on the roster.

Fun to watch how some of these guys have developed over the years.

They still rep our school and build our brand regardless.

I'd love to see Shai get a title.

As a Knicks "fan" (I use that word lightly), I hope to see KAT get one...but I don't think that's in the cards. They might get past the Pistons but they sure as heck aren't moving past Boston.

Obviously I have been a Boston fan my entire life but it irks me not one Wildcat is on the roster. Sometimes I wonder if Ainge now Stevens had some kind of bad blood with Calipari and refused to draft or sign a Kentucky player with the exception of Rondo and James Young. In the past rumors was they wanted AD then KAT but nothing.

Anyways, Brunson and KAT is a great tandem, SGA just keeps getting better and better, unbelievable player.

My son is a big KAT fan. He's kept up with him his entire career. He's not a Knicks fan but he's watched several of their games and he says the same thing, Will. Can't beat Boston or the Cavs. I have some friends who are Cleveland fans. I'll probably root for them since they have a legitimate shot.

I'm a Knicks fan only because of my time in New York. When I lived in the city for a couple months it correlated to the Knicks great playoff run to the Finals with Allan Houston in 1999. I used to go down to a bar in the East Village to watch the games with some friends. Bar was called, for some reason I can't remember, Slip Joe's. I didn't drink at the time and one night was over there pounding water and the bartender cut me off, thus I became famous at Slip Joe's for being the only man in its long history to be cut off from drinking from the tap.

You wasn't spending on money is what it was lol lol

Freaking New Yorkers. My mom was born here in Kentucky but grew up in New Jersey.

I still have some Puerto Rican/ Dominican friends up in the Bronx close to Yankee stadium. People just different up there, the arrogance and all of the above.

I think the Knicks are a dangerous team because I feel like Brunson is that guy. Boston is still bad about taking days off and not showing up, they feel they can just turn it on anytime they want. Still in a 7 game series, tough out.

I hope it's Boston Lakers one more time, want to see Boston drive the nail in Lebron's coffin...
